Leadership Roles announced for Bassetlaw Place Based Partnership

Bassetlaw CCG will become part of the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS) from 1st April 2022.  Bassetlaw will from that point have its own Place Based Partnership with organisations working together to deliver improvement in patient experiences, health and wellbeing for Bassetlaw citizens.

We are delighted to announce that as part of this process Dr Eric Kelly has been appointed as Bassetlaw Place Clinical Lead (Designate).

Dr Kelly is a local GP working at Riverside Health Centre, Retford and joined the Bassetlaw CCG Governing Body in November 2016.  Eric brings a wealth of experience as a local clinical leader being Chair of Bassetlaw CCG for the past 4 years as well as an active member of Retford and Villages Primary Care Network (PCN). Eric is currently the interim Clinical Director for the Retford and Villages PCN.

Eric will be part of an experienced senior NHS team supporting the Bassetlaw Place Partnership.  Nicola Ryan will take up the position of Bassetlaw’s lead nurse for Quality and Patient Safety.  Michele Godley will take up a senior role as a Finance lead for Bassetlaw and Dr. Victoria McGregor-Riley will be taking on the role of Locality Director.  This NHS leadership team forms part of the wider Place Partnership which has membership from across our health, care and voluntary sector partners and is chaired by David Armiger (Chief Executive of Bassetlaw District Council).
